A beautiful and engaging product, with stunning graphics. The 3D fly-by mode makes particularly good use of satellite-derived planetary maps, for a truly immersive experience. Redshift truly manages to squeeze a fully-functional mobile planetarium into an iPhone!

Now it just crashes. Will get 5 stars when it works again cuz it used to be one of the greatest apps I had. Update now.

I love this app but, you should be able to rotate around the planet without the sky getting all messed up. Also I seen on another astronomy app, if u point your iPod to the north and use the accelerometer, its basically the same thing as the compass, please add and fix these, then this will be the best astronomy app. I love the grand tour and I like you you can go to distant stars. Thats awesome.

Awesome app, But how do you get the integrated compass on it??? And when I change the year really fast the app closes. P.S., HELP MEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ran this app on both iPhone 4 and iPad 2 hooked up with the hdmi out and both output at 1080p (or at least 720p) 16:9 ratio. Its a good way to see it on the big screen. Right now its one of the few apps I have that have widescreen output on the HDTV

This is a very nice app. Looks stunning. There are a few things I might change, but otherwise a well made app. However, the price is way too much for what it is. There are quite a few other apps that are just as good or better for far cheaper. pUniverse is one off the top of my head. However if money is no object, this is s nice app.

This astronomy map is awseme, the search engine is great. Please add Renfrew Canada, Ontario to the location in the app in the next version of the app

I just bought this app a couple of days ago hoping for the best, and to my surprise I got exactly what I paid for and then some. Took a matter of approx. 10 minutes to figure it all out. When using the follow sky feature it is surprisingly accurate, there is easy access to Wikipedia for detailed info on almost everything I looked at, along with a quick info guide. Its also jam packed full constellations, stars, nebulae, clusters, planets, comets, and so on and so on. Im using it with my telescope that I just bought as well, and for a novice, I can tell you it is an amazing program to have to help pinpoint celestial bodies and also simultaneously learn about what your looking at and also whats around it. Id say its well worth the $12 I paid for it. I also havent had any issue with it crashing or anything, although sometimes it lags for a couple of seconds, but not to often.

I like this app but i cant get on the app
