Use it a lot while preparing my programs for visual observing with my telescopes. Also its really good for learning stars patterns and constellations. Contains all major deep sky objects so Id say thats perfect for amateur observers.

I find this app really amazing!!! Congrats to the developers and keep up the great work with new updated. I highly recommend it.

The OLD computer program Red Shift V4 could take you way back in time.

I use this app all the time when setting up my telescope and for looking for targets at star parties. it works well on my phone and my iPad, and it updatable for new objects. you can also set it to show only what you want to find, by magnitude, type... I have not regretted buying this app.

A good app. Lots of useful data

Ive used this app for a few years and it still amazes me. Beautiful, intuitive, and jam packed with amazing capabilities and information, and the ability to fast forward and rewind from just about any perspective in the universe. Land on any planet or moon and watch the evening sky move on Venus or Jupiter. Identify or find anything in our night sky. Use it to find satellites. Watch all the planets as the travel around the sun at any time shifted speed you want. Watch the earth from the perspective of a satellite and see all the other satellites orbiting in real time. Whatever you want to know about the night sky, deep space objects, or our solar system, this app has it. Beautiful graphics throughout and updated Pluto model from New Horizons to boot. Amazing!!!

The app gives viewings that are very accurate. Ive never spotted so many space craft. Future events are very interesting.

This is perhaps the best astronomy app I have found and its free.

This is a very cool app. One request I have is to include alternate constellation outlines. Specifically, Id love to see the outlines done by H.A. Rey in his fantastic astronomy book The Stars. H.A. Rey redraws all the constellations to actually look like the thing they represent. His drawing have been widely adopted. It is how I and probably millions of others out there learned the stars. I would love to see them used in this fantastic app.

This app is pretty much perfect. Its kind of expensive but after you use it you will know it was worth every penny. Real time tracking on comets, the space station, and planet locations. You can easily set the date ahead and plan your next outing with your telescope beforehand and know what to look for and where it will be. With the options you get with this app they could easily charge twice of what it currently sells for.

I use this app on a daily basis to keep up with the sky!

Its a very useful app that lets you find whatever that bright dot in the sky is that youve been looking at. Very nice mechanics that are easy to use once you learn them.
